Rick Wiles is serving the second year of his term as President, adding to his already very busy schedule. As owner and instructor of Artesia Family Wellness Center for the past four years and Artesia Family Fitness Center for the past 21 years, as well as a fire fighter and EMT-I for 30 years, he has been in the health care field for much of his life. Rick brings his skills and experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor into his teaching at his massage school and into his volunteer life in AMTA, focusing his efforts on increasing our chapter’s involvement in sports events and reaching out to other health care providers such as EMTs.

Our 1st VP, Sharon White has been a practicing massage therapist for 19 years. Her education comes from the University of Colorado and Mesilla Valley School of Therapeutic Arts in Las Crucas, NM. Sharon has studied neuromuscular therapy with Judith Walker-Delaney, myofascial release with John Barnes, pregnancy massage with Kate Jordan, and is a certified aromatherapist. She has been volunteering with the AMTA since 1992. We really appreciate Sharon's dedication to this organization.

Amy Zampella has been practicing massage for 13 years and is the owner of Heartline Wellness Center in Albuquerque, NM. She graduated from Crystal Mountain after moving to the state from New Jersey. Amy is a certified pregnancy massage therapist, enjoys working with clients post injury/surgery and in healing repetitive use injuries. Amy is honored to be in this profession and looks forward to networking with other therapists around the state to promote the benefits of massage. Amy enjoys road cycling and cooking with her husband Drew. Amy is currently the Communication Committee Chair which includes Newsletter and Website Editor.

Joshua attended Artesia Health and Wellness Center's Massage Therapy School and graduated in June of 2008. After graduation, Joshua achieved State licensure and opened Patton Therapeutic Massage. Joshua specializes in deep tissue work, chronic pain, relaxation, hot stone, prenatal, chair, and sports massage. He looks forward to pursuing certification in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy in the near future. Joshua enjoys spending his free time with his family.

My name is Tresa Jameson & I am your newly elected Treasurer for the AMTA-NM Chapter. I graduated from Boulder School of Massage Therapy in September of 1996. I have been a member of AMTA since 1996. I am also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. I have been in private practice since 1996, first in Charleston, West Virginia & currently in Ruidoso, NM. Over the years I have done on-site massage for several different events as a volunteer & I love the massage therapy field. I hope I can represent the AMTA-NM Chapter in a positive & professional manner.
